World Environment Day 2026 Celebrated at Invertis University
Invertis University, Bareilly celebrated World Environment Day 2026 on 5th June 2026 under the guidance of Hon'ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. Based on the global theme "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.", the programme aimed to promote environmental conservation, climate action, and sustainable living among students and faculty members.
The celebration was organized under the leadership of Dr. Devraj Singh, Head, Department of Agriculture, with Dr. Riya Pandey serving as the Convener. The event featured awareness activities that encouraged participants to adopt eco-friendly practices, conserve natural resources, and contribute towards building a greener and more sustainable future.
As part of the celebration, the university also promoted the national plantation campaign with the slogan "एक पेड़ माँ के नाम", inspiring students and faculty members to plant a tree as a tribute to their mothers while strengthening their commitment to environmental responsibility.
The programme reflected Invertis University's continued commitment to environmental sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and creating socially responsible citizens dedicated to protecting nature for future generations.
