The Department of Fashion Design at Invertis University offers a comprehensive undergraduate programme (B. Des. Fashion Design). This programme is carefully crafted to align with industry requirements and aims to equip students with the creative, technical, and professional skills necessary for a successful career in the fashion industry.
The curriculum covers a range of topics, including design history, patternmaking and construction, textiles and fabric selection, fashion marketing and promotion, and design studio and portfolio development. Students also learn how to use computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create their own designs.
The department offers a variety of extracurricular activities to help students develop their skills and knowledge in the fashion field. These activities include fashion shows, guest lectures, field trips, and fashion exhibitions.
Furthermore, the department provides students with the opportunity to gain professional experience through internships and opportunities to work with industry professionals. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in workshops and seminars to deepen their understanding of design and fashion.

Message from HOD
Established in the year 2014, the Department of Fashion Design has been consistently working towards the holistic development and progress of its students. The department is dedicated to enriching students’ skills in the field of fashion by providing them with appropriate exposure to both academic and industry-oriented learning.
We are among the most well-equipped departments in the Uttar Pradesh region in fashion designing, offering a three-year undergraduate program, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Fashion Design. We design the curriculum to provide aspiring designers with comprehensive knowledge and a balanced perspective of design. The ultimate objective of the program is to nurture responsible designers who contribute meaningfully to society and the nation through creativity, innovation, education, and research.
In addition to the academic curriculum, the department actively organizes a range of extracurricular activities and creative events that allow students to express their artistic skills through various forms of art and design. Regular participation in fashion shows, both within and outside the campus further enhances students’ creativity and prepares them to face diverse industry challenges confidently.
At Invertis University, the curriculum structure of the Fashion Design program is meticulously developed to foster both design proficiency and entrepreneurial competence, enabling students to pursue successful careers or establish their own ventures. To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department also facilitates industrial internships, guest lectures, and expert sessions conducted by professionals from the fashion and garment industry. These initiatives provide students with valuable hands-on experience and practical insights into real-world fashion practices.

- Our students have participated in India Khadi Fashion Show organised by Khadi Design Council of India.
- Some students have done internship under the designers of FDCI (Fashion Design Council of India) and some reputed export Houses situated in Delhi/Noida/Gurugram.
