Research Overview

The Department of Biotechnology at Invertis University is actively involved in a wide range of cutting-edge research that focuses on developing new technologies for medical, agricultural, industrial, and environmental applications.

The research activities include basic research in topics such as molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, biochemistry, and cell biology that involves exploring and understanding their underlying principles. These findings are then applied to create practical solutions such as development of novel therapeutic agents, the use of genetically modified organisms, and the production of biofuels.

The Department works closely with industry to develop these new technologies for commercial application. Our research faculty partner with local and international companies to develop new products and processes that can be used to improve healthcare and agricultural productivity, reduce pollution, and create more efficient industrial processes.
