The three-year Ph.D. in Pharmacy programme offered by the Department of Pharmacy provides an advanced level of training in all aspects of pharmaceuticals. Students enrolled in the programme will focus on one specialized topic such as Advanced Pharmaceutics, Modern Pharmaceutical Sciences, Advanced Pharmacology & Toxicology, Biological Screening Methods, Advanced Medicinal Chemistry, Modern Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Modern Pharmacognosy, and Phytochemistry & Phytopharmaceuticals. A thesis project is required for the successful completion of the programme.
The Ph.D. in Pharmacy provides numerous benefits for students. Admission to the Ph.D Progaramme would be through an entrance exam. Those who have qualified UGC/CSIR(JRF) examination/SLET/GATE examination or have M.Phil degree will be exempted from the entrance examination.
