Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities at Invertis University celebrated National Space Day which falls on 23rd August every year showcasing India’s remarkable journey in space exploration. This year’s theme is “Aryabhatta to Gaganyaan, from Ancient Wisdom to Infinite Possibilities”,
It was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Y.D.S. Arya, Dean-Faculty of Sciences, Prof. P.P. Singh, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Jain (HOD-ASH), and Dr. Ashutosh Pradhan (Deputy Registrar) also marked their esteemed presence on the occasion.
The program featured student presentations highlighting key milestones of India’s space research—from the launch of Aryabhatta to the upcoming Gaganyaan Mission. A quiz competition was also conducted, drawing enthusiastic participation and testing students’ knowledge on ISRO’s achievements and global space exploration.
The event was convened by Dr. Swapnil and co-convened by Dr. Suchita, with the support of the organizing committee and faculty members. Winners of the quiz and oral presentation were felicitated, while all participants were encouraged to continue nurturing scientific curiosity.
