Training programe condcted by EBSCO
EBSCO Information Services India Pvt. Ltd., a leading provider of research databases, e-journals, and e-books, organized a student awareness and training program on 27th February 2024 at Invertis University, Bareilly.
Customized sessions were conducted separately for MBA, BBA, and B. Com students, alongside an exclusive session for the faculty members of the management department. Approx. 500 students participated in this program.
Mr. Abhinash Choudhary, the EBSCO Trainer, engaged participants throughout the training program with his informative presentation. He explained a comprehensive array of topics, including the process of logging into the EBSCO website, navigating its features via mobile and remote access, downloading PDFs of e-books and company reports, viewing reports in HTML (without downloading), and leveraging time-saving features of searching and sending PDFs.
Additionally, participants gained insights into accessing MP3 files, applying search filters, and even adjusting language preferences for articles.
At the end of each session, students participated actively in a quiz, with winners receiving prizes.
