Dated: 13-12-2021 & 14-12-2021

Department of Computer Applications

SQL stands for “Structured Query Language was created for getting access and modifying data held in databases.

It works by understanding and analyzing databases that include data fields in their tables. For example, we can take a large organization where a lot of data have to be stored and managed. The organization has to collect and store all the information from the various departments. All the gathered information is organized and stored in a database, but it has to be valuable and accessible — that’s the place where SQL comes in. In such a situation, SQL is a platform that associates with front-end and back-end databases (computers and databases held on servers).

To make students aware about SQL we had organized an workshop for all the first year students of BCA and BSc. (H) CS on 13-12-2021. The lecture was delivered by the II year students acknowledging about the basic of SQL and its related commands.

The lecture was full of motivational words and fruitful under the guidance of Prof. YDS Arya (Vice Chancellor), Prof. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Mr. Jitendra Kumar Chaudhary (HOD, Department of Computer Applications) & Mr Saurabh Saxena.
