The Department of Fashion Design organized a Guest Lecture on “Vision to Venture: Establishing a Design Label in a Fashion Industry” on 2nd September 2025. The session was delivered by Mr. Ayush Sethi, Founder of Heer Ranjha, Bareilly, who shared his professional journey and valuable insights from the fashion industry.
During his lecture, Mr. Sethi emphasized the significance of brand building, explaining how it plays a crucial role in establishing a label in a competitive market. He highlighted that curation is an important aspect of design, encouraging students to pay close attention to details and trends. He also stressed the importance of being observant and aware of their surroundings, as inspiration often comes from everyday life.
Adding further depth to the session, Mr. Sethi brought along his own collection and explained the design development process behind it. This hands-on demonstration helped students understand the journey of a garment from concept to creation and gave them practical exposure to professional practices in fashion.
