Yashika Gupta

Ms. Yashika Gupta is a Journalism and Mass Communication professional with a strong passion for teaching, learning, and media engagement. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Invertis University, Bareilly, and serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, where she teaches undergraduate students and guides them in both theoretical concepts and practical media skills.

She is UGC-NET qualified and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism & mass communication. Alongside her academic pursuits, Ms. Gupta has gained valuable industry exposure through hands-on internships in news reporting, anchoring, digital content writing, and voice-over, which enrich her classroom teaching with real-world insights.

Ms. Gupta strongly believes in bridging the gap between classroom learning and professional media practices. Her teaching approach emphasizes creativity, confidence-building, and experiential learning, enabling students to develop practical skills while understanding the ethical and theoretical foundations of journalism. Through mentoring and interactive instruction, she is committed to nurturing future media professionals who are adaptable, informed, and socially responsible.
