Vivek Gupta

Mr. Vivek Gupta is an experienced academician and practitioner currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Invertis University, Bareilly. With a rich blend of over 13 years in academia and one year in industry, he brings both theoretical depth and practical insight to his teaching.

He holds an MBA with a dual specialization in Finance and Marketing, has qualified UGC NET in Management, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University. His areas of expertise include Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, and International Financial Management, along with a strong foundation in general management subjects.

Mr. Gupta actively contributes to the holistic development of students by serving as Class In-Charge and Placement Coordinator, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry readiness. Prior to joining Invertis University, he taught at renowned institutions such as Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management & Technology and Amrapali Group of Institutions. His industry experience at Axis Bank further enhances his ability to deliver practical and application-oriented learning.

A strong advocate of continuous learning, he has completed several Faculty Development Programs and NPTEL certifications from IITs in areas including Cost Accounting, Financial Management, and Panel Data Analysis. His ongoing research focuses on studying the impact of capital structure on the profitability of non-listed firms in India.

Beyond academics, Mr. Gupta is passionate about reading, singing, and traveling, activities that enrich his perspective and strengthen his connection with students. His dedication to fostering industry-ready, ethically grounded management professionals makes him a valued member of the faculty.
