Tanya Dubey

Ms. Tanya Dubey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fashion Design at Invertis University, with professional experience spanning the fashion industry and higher education. She holds a Master of Design (M.Des.) in Fashion & Apparel from SGT University, Gurugram. Her industry experience includes training as a PD Merchandiser at Richa & Co., working as a Menswear Fashion Designer at Cilory.com, and serving as a Senior Fashion Consultant at Charles & Keith Group.

With 2.5 years of academic experience, her teaching and research interests focus on Advanced Pattern Making and Garment Construction, with an emphasis on connecting technical skills, creativity, and practical application in fashion education.

Ms. Dubey has guided final-year students in developing Graduation Design Collections and mentored fashion design students in creating client-based outfits for the final round of Mr. & Ms. Invertian 2026. She has also served as Organizing Secretary for FDP 2026, SPOC for Google Agentic AI and Website, Departmental Placement Coordinator, and Fashion Design Lab In-Charge.

She has contributed to departmental and university-level initiatives as Convener of Nirmiti 2025: The Invertis Fashion Show and has coordinated guest lectures, workshops, and competitions covering Fashion CAD, Fashion Journalism, Indian Handloom, Intellectual Property Rights in Fashion, and Upcycling. Her academic work incorporates practical exposure and industry perspectives into fashion education, helping students connect classroom learning with professional applications.
