Dr. Swapnil Gurrani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities at Invertis University, Bareilly. She holds a Ph.D. from Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan, and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Amity University, Noida. Her academic and professional expertise spans green chemistry, analytical chemistry, chromatography, mass spectrometry, sample preparation, analytical method development and validation, and chemical data interpretation.
Her research interests centre on green and sustainable analytical chemistry, with particular focus on miniaturized and in-syringe sample preparation and advanced analytical techniques including UHPLC-MS/MS, LC-MS/MS, HPLC, GC-MS, and GC-FID. Her research applications extend across food, environmental, biological, and clinical analysis. She also brings experience in chemistry teaching and laboratory work, along with involvement in student mentoring, academic coordination, scientific communication, and research-oriented initiatives.
Dr. Gurrani has expertise in AI-enabled research and digital research workflows, including scientific writing, literature review, research-data interpretation, and data visualization. Her research contributions include publications in journals such as Food Chemistry, Chemosphere, Environmental Research, Journal of Chromatography A, and Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, as well as review articles and book chapters.
Her academic achievements include Best Poster and Oral Presentation awards at national and international conferences. Her work combines chemistry education with research in sustainable analytical methods and instrumental analysis, supporting both laboratory-based learning and research-oriented academic activities at Invertis University.
