Dr. Shailendra Singh is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Invertis University, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India, since August 8, 2022. His core research interests include Plant-Microbe Interactions in the rhizosphere, with special emphasis on biotic and abiotic stress management, sulfur nutrition, agricultural microbiology, and molecular biology.
Dr. Singh has been actively involved in several prestigious research projects funded by the Government of India, significantly contributing to the development of microbial-based bioformulations and sustainable agricultural technologies. As an active researcher, he has authored 29 research papers published in reputed Scopus, SCI, and Web of Science-indexed journals, and has contributed 10 book chapters in edited volumes published by national and international publishers. He has also compiled institutional reports and contributed technical articles in his field.
His academic excellence has been recognized through numerous fellowships and awards during his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs. Notably, Dr. Singh was honored with the K.P.V. Menon and Prof. K.S. Bilgrami Best Poster Award in 2018 by the Indian Phytopathological Society, New Delhi, and the Indian Society of Mycology & Plant Pathology, Udaipur. He has also received several best oral and poster presentation awards at various national and international conferences, seminars, and symposia.
Dr. Singh actively reviews manuscripts for various national and international journals and is frequently invited to deliver lead lectures and expert talks on scientific platforms. His commitment to innovative research and academic excellence continues to contribute significantly to the scientific community.
