Rahul Soni

Dr. Rahul Soni is an academician, researcher, and educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Botany in the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities at Invertis University. He completed his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Botany from the University of Allahabad, where he developed a strong academic foundation in microbial sciences, plant sciences, and environmental biology.

Dr. Soni has qualified the prestigious CSIR-NET in Life Sciences and has also qualified the GATE examination twice, demonstrating his strong academic and research aptitude. His research interests encompass Microbial Physiology, Microbial-Induced Deterioration of Monuments, Stress Biology, Phycology, and Environmental Microbiology. His doctoral research focused on understanding the role of microorganisms in the biodeterioration of historical monuments and investigating their ecological interactions under varying environmental conditions.

With teaching and research experience spanning multiple areas of biological sciences, Dr. Soni is committed to promoting conceptual learning, scientific temperament, and research-oriented education among students. His teaching methodology integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications, encouraging learners to explore interdisciplinary aspects of modern biology, environmental sustainability, and microbial sciences.

In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he actively contributes to scientific writing and research publications in the fields of microbiology, biotechnology, environmental sciences, and applied biological research. Through his academic and research endeavors, Dr. Soni aims to advance scientific understanding, promote sustainable environmental practices, and mentor students to develop strong analytical, experimental, and research skills.
