Nisha Rani

Dr. Nisha Rani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Invertis University, Bareilly. She earned her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. Her doctoral research focused on the experimental and numerical investigation of fracture parameters of Aluminium Alloy 7075-T651 under Mode I and mixed-mode loading.

Her academic and research expertise includes fracture mechanics, fatigue and failure analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and advanced materials. She has experience integrating experimental investigations with computational modelling for engineering applications, with professional expertise in ANSYS Workbench, the Finite Element Method (FEM), fracture mechanics, and composite materials.

Her teaching interests cover core Mechanical Engineering subjects including Engineering Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Machine Design, Manufacturing Processes, and Finite Element Method. Her research interests include fracture mechanics, fatigue behaviour of aluminium alloys, sustainable and natural-fibre composites, and advanced materials.

Dr. Nisha Rani has published research work in Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals and has contributed through patents and book chapters in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and advanced materials. She also contributes to academic activities through teaching, student mentoring, research, technical writing, and the development of engineering learning resources.
