Dr. Neha Kukreti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities at Invertis University. She holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany from Gargi College, University of Delhi, and an M.Sc. in Botany from the University of Delhi. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi.
Her research focuses on the sustainable production of bioplastics and industrial enzymes using renewable resources and agro-waste materials such as corn stover, contributing to global sustainability goals and environmental conservation. Dr. Kukreti’s doctoral work aligns with promoting biodegradable alternatives to petroleum-based plastics and advancing waste valorization strategies.
She has also worked on microbial and enzymatic applications for bioremediation and industrial decolorization processes. Her findings have been published in reputed international journals including Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology (Springer), Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, and Industrial Crops and Products. She has also contributed review articles and book chapters highlighting trends in green technologies and bioprocess optimization.
Dr. Kukreti is passionate about sustainable innovation and the circular bioeconomy, aiming to create eco-friendly and scalable solutions that benefit both industry and the environment.
