Mohit Kumar

Dr. Mohit Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Invertis University, Bareilly. He completed his Ph.D. from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (G.B.P.U.A.T.), Pantnagar, and his M.E. and B.E. degrees from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune. He has recently begun his teaching career at Invertis University.

His academic interests include core areas of mechanical engineering such as Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, Machine Design, Engineering Mechanics, and Theory of Machines. His research interests primarily focus on polymer composites, which formed the area of his Ph.D. research, along with metal alloys and friction stir welding.

Dr. Mohit Kumar has contributed to research on natural fibre composites through review articles highlighting the potential of environment-friendly alternatives to synthetic fibre-based composites. His work covers natural fibres such as kenaf, jute, and banana. He has publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters in Scopus-indexed books.

He has also qualified the GATE examination conducted by IITs and IISc Bangalore and continues to contribute to the scientific community through his academic and research work.
