Dr. Harishyam Kumar is a physicist, educator, and researcher, working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities in Invertis University. He received his doctorate degree in 2025 in the field of Physics from IIT Kanpur’s Department of Physics, and his research was centered on the subject of Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR).

His doctoral study included a theoretical and experimental analysis approach, with an emphasis on the mechanisms behind reactions at low energies via quantum perturbation theory. This has equipped Dr. Kumar with extensive knowledge about nuclear physics, quantum mechanics, and computational modeling.

Nuclear reactions, specifically those associated with energy production and fundamental interactions, are one of his major fields of interest. Additionally, quantum computation and how it can be utilized for the simulation of quantum systems and the advancement of nuclear process understanding are also significant research topics for him. His research seeks to combine nuclear physics and computational science through contemporary quantum computation techniques and methods.

Having worked as a Project Associate at IIT Kanpur, Dr. Kumar’s academic teaching style reflects research-oriented perspectives and conceptual clarity.
