Ms. Geetanjali Rautela is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications at Invertis University, Bareilly, with more than 8 years of teaching experience in higher education. She holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, completed with 83.77%, and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, completed with 76%. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. and is involved in teaching, research, student mentoring, project supervision, and academic development.
Her professional expertise includes Data Analytics, Python, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Data Visualization, Machine Learning, and Exploratory Data Analysis. Her research interests focus on Cybersecurity, Intrusion Detection Systems, Machine Learning, Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), Blockchain, and intelligent cyber threat analysis.
Ms. Rautela has contributed six research publications, including two Scopus-indexed papers and four other research papers, covering Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, and emerging technologies. Her recent research includes the evaluation of the K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) classifier for intrusion detection in Wireless Sensor Networks, with a focus on Blackhole, Flooding, and Grayhole attacks.
She also has three patents to her credit, reflecting her involvement in technology-driven innovation. Alongside research, she contributes to student development through mentoring, practical training, project guidance, and academic activities, with an emphasis on integrating emerging technologies and industry-relevant skills into computer applications education.
