Dr. Deepak Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Invertis University. He holds a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand, where his research focused on the physico-mechanical properties of high-performance laminated bamboo composites for structural applications, promoting sustainable alternatives.
His research interests include natural fiber-reinforced composites, experimental mechanics, material characterization, and the application of AI and ML in mechanical engineering. Dr. Kumar has published eight papers in SCI/SCIE-indexed journals, presented at national and international conferences, and contributed one book chapter. His research outcomes include one granted patent and one published patent.
With experience as a Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, and Assistant Professor, he is dedicated to interdisciplinary research, sustainability, and integrating computational tools into engineering
