Dr. Chandra Prakash Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities at Invertis University. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, after completing his M.Sc. in Physics from Banaras Hindu University and B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from the University of Delhi. He has qualified CSIR-JRF twice, highlighting his strong academic merit.
His research focuses on optical materials and their properties, ion irradiation and implantation effects on materials, ion-matter interactions, silicon photonics structures, and optoelectronic applications. He is also actively involved in the fabrication of porous silicon-based architectures such as distributed Bragg reflectors (DBRs) and microcavities.
Dr. Verma has published four research papers in highly reputed journals and has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and specialized schools, receiving a best presentation/poster award. His expertise and dedication inspire a strong research culture among students and colleagues alike.
