Dr. Vikas Yadav is an organic chemist who is highly interested in conducting research in organic chemistry and holds Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University and a solid educational background with M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from the University of Allahabad. During his Ph.D., he worked on hypervalent iodine chemistry and metal-free organic reactions for sustainable synthetic methods.
His expertise lies in C-H functionalization and making new C-X, C-O, and C-N bonds that would help advance the field of green and sustainable chemistry. The focus of his research is on designing selective, efficient, and green synthetic methods.
He has extensive practical knowledge in using advanced analytical techniques such as NMR spectroscopy, GC-MS, HPLC, and FTIR. In addition, Dr. Yadav has skills in using state-of-the-art scientific tools such as ChemDraw, MestReNova, SciFinder, and Beilstein.
He has proven research experience with several publications in peer-reviewed journals and also has attended national and international conferences. In addition, he has passed highly competitive national level exams such as CSIR-JRF, GATE, and IIT-JAM with merit.
His research interests include green and sustainable chemistry, drug/natural products synthesis, organometallic catalysis, and C-H bond activation.
