On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, Invertis University organized a tree plantation drive that included the planting of Sita Ashok (Saraca asoca) and Red Chandan (Pterocarpus santalinus) both renowned for their medicinal value and ecological significance. The theme of World Environment Day 2025 is "Beat Plastic Pollution".
The event was graced by the Hon’ble Chancellor, Dr. Umesh Gautam, the Vice Chancellor- Prof. Y. D. S. Arya, Dean Faculty of Science- Prof. P. P. Singh and other esteemed dignitaries of the University. This impactful initiative was organized by the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) reaffirming the University’s commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation. Aligned with the global call to reduce plastic waste the event emphasized the importance of restoring green cover and promoting eco-friendly practices. The enthusiastic participation of students and faculty made it a truly collaborative effort inspiring greater environmental responsibility within the university community.
