Symposium on “Union Budget 2026: कर्तव्य, संकल्प, विस्तार” (Department of B.Com.)

The Department of B.Com., Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized a Symposium on “Union Budget 2026: कर्तव्य, संकल्प, विस्तार” on 13th February 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members eager to analyze the key highlights and economic implications of the Union Budget 2026.
The symposium featured distinguished keynote speakers CA Vikas Bansal and CA Shivam Gupta, who delivered insightful sessions on fiscal priorities, tax reforms, sector-wise impact, and implications for business strategy and economic growth. The speakers explained complex budgetary provisions in a simplified and practical manner, enabling students to understand the real-world relevance of fiscal policy in commerce and financial decision-making.
A major highlight of the event was the Students’ Presentation Competition, where teams analyzed different sectors of the Union Budget. Participants demonstrated strong research aptitude, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.

The interactive discussion and Q&A session further enhanced students’ understanding of infrastructure development, digital economy initiatives, employment measures, and taxation reforms.
The programme was organized under the guidance of Prof. Manish Gupta, Dean – Faculty of Management, and Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi, Head – Department of B.Com., with the active support of faculty members and student coordinators.
The symposium proved to be an enriching academic exercise, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical insights into fiscal governance and strengthening students’ analytical and professional competencies.
