Seminar - Impact of Civil Engineering Projects | invertis University

Department of Civil Engineering organized a hybrid seminar on 28th April, 2022 on the topic “IMPACT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT AND PRACTICES ON THE SUSTAINABILITY OF ENVIRONMENT”. Prof. R.K. Shukla, Dean Engineering & Technology welcomed the Chief Guest for the session Prof. Y.D.S. Arya, Vice-Chancellor, Invertis University & the speakers of the session. He also motivated the students to take maximum benefit from the session. The keynote speaker of the session Dr. Manish Kumar Nema, Scientist – D National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee (Uttarakhand) explained about the “Impact of Water Resources Project on Environment”. The speakers for online session Dr. Shreya Nivesh, Scientist ICAR, Motihari (Bihar) & Dr. Deepak Kumar, Assistant Professor G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand) shared their knowledge on “Impact of Civil Engineering Works on the Quality of Land and Water Resources” and “Water Pollution & Water Quality” respectively. Chief Guest of the session appreciated the department for organizing this seminar and encouraged to keep organizing such informative events. The seminar was fruitful for the students.
