Selection of JMC Students for Akashvani’s “Yuva Manch” Programme

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Invertis University, Bareilly successfully conducted an Extempore Competition in association with Akashvani Bareilly under the able leadership of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. This competition enabled students to display their skills related to public speaking, communication, and spontaneity through impromptu speeches on allotted topics.
Upon completion of an interesting and challenging round, some selected students gained a chance to become participants of the esteemed “Yuva Manch” programme of Akashvani. First prize went to Ansh Pratap Singh (BAJMC 2nd Year), followed by Raghav Agnihotri (BAJMC 2nd Year) who won the second prize, while Sukriti Pandey (BAJMC 1st Year) bagged the third prize.
This event proved to be successful in projecting the confidence, creativity, and communicative talents of the students. It also demonstrated the efforts taken by the department to expose its students to practical aspects of media and journalism. Hereby, the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication extended hearty congratulations to all the winners.
