The Department of Fashion Design, Invertis University, Bareilly, organized a Retail Exposure Visit to Phoenix United Mall, Bareilly on 31st January 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The visit was conducted with the objective of providing students practical exposure to the retail and fashion industry environment.

During the visit, students explored various brand outlets and observed current fashion trends, visual merchandising techniques, store layouts, branding strategies, and consumer behaviour. They closely analysed window displays, mannequin styling, product placement, and store atmospherics to understand real-world retail presentation. Students also interacted with retail staff to gain insights into merchandising operations, customer engagement, and trend forecasting.

The visit significantly enhanced students’ observational skills, market awareness, and design sensibility, making learning more experiential and industry oriented. Overall, the exposure visit proved to be informative, engaging, and successful in enriching students’ understanding of the fashion retail ecosystem.
