Online Guest Lecture on “Understanding Development of Recombinant Vaccines: Preventive and Therapeutic Potential”

The Invertis Institute of Pharmacy, Invertis University, Bareilly organized an online guest lecture on the topic “Understanding Development of Recombinant Vaccines: Preventive and Therapeutic Potential” on 16th April 2026 under the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam.
The session was delivered by Dr. Sachidananda Behera, Associate Professor and Principal, Faculty of Pharmacy, AISECT University, Hazaribag, Jharkhand, and Former Senior Researcher, ICMR-RMRIMS, Patna. The lecture proved to be highly informative and enriching for students, offering both academic knowledge and practical understanding of recombinant vaccine development.
Dr. Behera introduced the core concepts of recombinant vaccines in a simple and relatable manner. He explained the preventive and therapeutic potential of vaccines and discussed the process of their development, applications, and significance in the healthcare sector. The session moved from basic concepts to advanced insights, helping students understand the topic clearly.
The lecture was highly interactive, as Dr. Behera encouraged students to ask questions, share their opinions, and actively participate in discussions throughout the session. A dedicated question-and-answer segment at the end of the programme allowed students to gain further clarity and deeper insights into the topic.
