ONLINE GUEST LECTURE ON CLASSROOM TO BOARDROOM ORGANISED BY B.COM DEPARTMENT ON 10TH JUNE 2021
With a view to prepare the students from campus to corporate, B.Com Department organized an Online Guest Lecture on Classroom To Boardroom on 10th June, 2021 for B.Com (H) in Financial Markets (2nd & 3rd year). The lecture was delivered by Mr. Harbinder Singh Sokhi (Manager, BSE IPF).
Mr. Harbinder started the session with the discussion on the way one walks in the interview and body language of the candidate is also noted. He gave some pointers for the students like one should be dressed well, the manner of conversing with the authorities. He gave many ways to boost the confidence in the existing job profile. He also motivated the students and discussed ways to cope up with the peer pressure during the interview.
Later, Mr. Sokhi discussed about the various behaviour traits to enter in the organisation and his own personal experiences and opinions about the same. During the lecture, he also entertained queries of students’ related to behaviour at the work place. The session was very interactive and productive.
