One-Week Faculty Development Programme on “AI-Powered Teaching & Research: Generative AI and Prompt Engineering” to be Organised at Invertis University
The Departments of Computer Science & Engineering and Computer Applications, Invertis University, Bareilly, are set to organize a One-Week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “AI-Powered Teaching & Research: Generative AI and Prompt Engineering” from 6th to 11th July 2026 at the HP Intel Lab, Invertis University. The programme aims to equip faculty members with practical knowledge and advanced skills in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, AI-assisted teaching, content development, research enhancement, and academic productivity.
The FDP will focus on understanding Generative AI technologies, learning effective prompt engineering techniques, integrating AI tools into teaching and learning processes, enhancing research productivity, and exploring innovative AI-driven educational practices. Participants will gain hands-on experience in AI-assisted lesson planning, research workflows, personalized learning strategies, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in academia.
The programme is being organized under the patronage of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam, with guidance from the university leadership and academic experts. Renowned resource persons including Mr. Varun Ratnakar (Data Engineer), Mr. Rahul Pathak (Senior Data Scientist), and Dr. Prateek Gupta (Senior Data Scientist) will deliver expert sessions during the FDP.
The FDP will be convened by Mr. Bhuvan Chandra Joshi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, with Mr. Akhil Pandey, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications, serving as Co-Convener. The programme is expected to provide a valuable platform for faculty members to strengthen their AI competencies and adopt innovative approaches in teaching, learning, and research.
