The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Science, Invertis University, Bareilly, organized a guest lecture on the eve of National Science Day. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Neeraj Panwar, Assistant Professor at CHRIST University, Delhi NCR. The topic of the lecture was “Thinking Like a Researcher: How Psychology Creates Knowledge.” During the session, Dr. Neeraj interacted with undergraduate and postgraduate students and explained the significance of scientific thinking and research methodology in the field of psychology. He highlighted how psychological knowledge is developed through systematic observation, critical thinking, and empirical research. He also discussed the importance of formulating research questions, analysing data, and interpreting findings in a meaningful manner.

On the occasion of National Science Day, several academic activities were also organized for students to promote scientific curiosity and innovation. These activities included oral presentations and scientific model presentations by students. The participants presented creative ideas and demonstrated scientific concepts through their models and presentations, reflecting their understanding of scientific principles and research thinking. The best presentations and innovative models were appreciated and awarded for their excellence.

The lecture was conducted under the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The program was successfully coordinated by the Convenors Dr. Aditya Kumar and Ms. Divyanshi Rana, who ensured the smooth organization of the lecture and the related academic activities. Faculty members and students actively participated in the event, making the celebration of National Science Day meaningful and engaging.
