National Science Day is celebrated by the Faculty of Science, on 28th February 2024 at Invertis University. This year Science Day has been celebrated on the theme “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat”. Vice Chancellor Prof. Y.D.S. Arya has given the welcome address. Dean, Faculty of Science Prof. P.P. Singh has elaborated the indigenous technologies playing an important role in making India as Viksit Bharat.
Dr. Abha Trivedi from Department of Animal Science, MJP Rohilkhand University, has addressed this function as the Invited Speaker. Students have actively participated in a quiz competition in the name of “Galaxia-2024” organized on same day. Students have also shown their creativity through their participation in “Poster Making Competition”
This day is dedicated to Sir C.V. Raman. It is celebrated every year on 28th February in recognition of the unprecedented discovery of the Raman Effect by Dr. Raman. He has been awarded by the Nobel Prize in 1930 for this discovery.
