Market Mavens The Ultimate Challenge’ Gives Invertis University MBA Students Hands-On Marketing Experience

The Department of MBA at Invertis University organised “Market Mavens the Ultimate Challenge”, giving students an opportunity to put marketing concepts into practice through product presentation and customer-focused activities.
The challenge focused on developing students’ understanding of market research, segmentation, marketing strategy and digital tools, while also strengthening communication, persuasion and presentation skills. Creativity was another key element, with students encouraged to use visual storytelling and engaging presentation techniques.
Participants presented their products to an audience, explaining their features, benefits and unique selling propositions (USPs). Several students brought actual product samples, adding a practical element to their presentations and making the activity more interactive.
The variety of products and presentation approaches reflected students’ creativity and ability to think about how a product can be positioned and communicated to potential customers. Students also responded to questions from the audience, giving them an opportunity to practise spontaneous communication and build confidence.
The activity provided practical exposure to areas such as product promotion, customer engagement, marketing communication and presentation. Students also explored how creativity and innovation can influence a product’s appeal and marketability.
Alongside individual presentation skills, the challenge encouraged teamwork and coordination. The experience allowed students to connect classroom concepts with a practical marketing situation and understand the importance of presenting a product clearly to its target audience.
The event was conducted with the guidance and support of Prof. Y. D. S. Arya, Vice Chancellor; Prof. Manish Gupta, Dean of Management; and Dr. Ankita Tandon, HOD MBA. Faculty event facilitators CFA Rakesh Gupta, Dr. Prabhat Kumar Sharma, and Ms. Sakshi Saxena contributed to the organisation and coordination of the activity.
Dr. Viksit Tripathi, Dr. Nitesh Saxena, Ms. Tanpreet Kaur, and Ms. Sukanya Chatterjee were also present and encouraged the participating students.
“Market Mavens the Ultimate Challenge” provided MBA students with a competitive and practical environment to develop marketing skills while applying ideas from the classroom to product presentation, customer interaction and promotion.
