The law department of Invertis University organized its 2nd national seminar on the theme " Constitutionality of Collegium System in the appointment of Higher Judiciary Functionary in India" on 4th and 5th October 2019. This seminar aimed at the vibrant exchange of ideas and perspectives on all the evolving issues related to the Collegium System in India and various other aspects regarding the sub-themes of the seminar. The chief guest of the seminar was Prof. K.C.Joshi, former vice-chancellor of Kumaon University and a very renowned legal academician. The Guest of Honour of the Seminar was Prof. S.K. Singh, dean School of Law at Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida and former Vice-Chancellor of Bhoj Open University Bhopal. The keynote address was delivered by Prof S. D. Sharma, senior prof. at Ambedkar University Lucknow. Dr Amit Singh HoD Law of MJPRU also graced the occasion by their valuable presence. He shared his views with the students. Dr K.B. Tripathi, Director Shreshta IAS Classes also expressed his views on practical aspects of the judicial system.
Around 170 students from Invertis University8 and other Institutions attended the seminar and participated in this academic event. The convener of the Seminar was Ms. Nupur Sony. The best speaker of the seminar was adjudged Jatin, Kritika, and Jayant. Qazisammuddin 's research paper was given the award of the best research paper. The winner of the Poster Competition was Samarth Saxena and Shivam Paul.
