Department of Computer Application has organized an Online Guest Lecture for the students of MCA, BCA and B.Sc (H) CS on 26 May 2021. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Saurabh Gangwar, Infrastructure Architect, IBM Global, Noida, on the topic “Transforming IT Graduate to IT Professional”. He has industry experience of more than 13 years.
Computer Networking specialist, Mr. Saurabh has asked students to know about the top 10 technical skills which are highly demanded in 2021 as well as guided about various certification courses offered by Google, Cisco, and Microsoft etc. and which will surely make students industry ready. He has shared various experiences of his life and about the soft skills along with technical skills which industry expects from a fresher. It was clearly mentioned by him, that there is no recession in IT industry due to COVID-19. Rather, a number of opportunities are available in the India in this pandemic. He has focused on to sharpen their skill sets. He has asked students to set their goal and to work for the same with full enthusiasm.
He has extended his full support to the students for the career guidance any time. The session was full of interaction where students have come up with their doubts and queries regarding certification and internship, and the all the queries were resolved by the guest.
The session was full of positivity and very fruitful under the guidance of Prof. Y.D.S. Arya (Vice Chancellor), Prof. Manish Gupta (Dean Management), Mr. Jitendra Chaudhary (HOD, Computer Applications) and Ms. Nishu Rastogi.
