The Faculty of Management at Invertis University organised the first guest lecture for the MBA Batch 2026 on August 19, 2026, at Seminar Hall 1. The 4.5-hour session brought together 210 MBA students for an interaction with industry professional Mr. Rishi Raj Tandon, Vice President Sales, Ceasefire Limited.

The lecture was designed to give newly joined MBA students an early understanding of corporate expectations and the skills needed to navigate their professional journey. Mr. Tandon shared insights from his career in sales and discussed how students could make better use of their MBA years by developing a practical and professional mindset.

The session began with a welcome by Mr. Pranjal Saxena, followed by an address from Dr. Ankita Tandon, HOD – MBA, who encouraged students to make the most of their time at the university. Mr. Tandon then spoke about his professional journey and shared practical perspectives on industry expectations and career development.

The programme also included an interactive learning component through an inspirational movie screening after the lunch break. The screening focused on themes of ambition, goal setting, resilience and overcoming challenges.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Prabhat Kumar Sharma, who expressed gratitude to the guest speaker for sharing his experience with the students.

The guest lecture gave MBA Batch 2026 students an opportunity to hear directly from an experienced industry professional at the beginning of their postgraduate journey. It also encouraged them to approach their MBA with greater focus on practical learning, confidence and professional development.
