Invertis University BBA Students Participate in Mock Placement Drive 2026
The Department of BBA, Faculty of Management at Invertis University, organised a Mock Placement Drive for Semester V students on August 25, 2026, giving them an opportunity to experience the stages of a recruitment process in a simulated professional setting.
The drive was conducted to help students assess and improve their aptitude, communication skills, confidence and interview preparedness. The exercise followed three stages commonly included in campus recruitment processes: an aptitude test, group discussion and personal interview.
The Aptitude Test, held in Room No. 20, assessed students on logical reasoning, quantitative ability and problem-solving skills. Students who progressed to the next stage took part in a Group Discussion at the AB-3 Conference Room, where they were assessed on communication, teamwork, leadership, presentation of ideas and awareness of contemporary issues.
The final stage was the Personal Interview, which gave students an opportunity to experience a professional interview setting. The round focused on their confidence, subject knowledge, communication and overall personality.
The drive was organised under the guidance and support of Prof. Dr. Manish Gupta, Dean – Management & Computer Application, and Dr. Rajeev Singh Bhandari, HOD – BBA. The activity was facilitated by Dr. Swastika Tripathi, Associate Professor, FOM, and Ms. Neha Dev, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Management.
Beyond the three assessment rounds, the exercise gave students a clearer understanding of what to expect during recruitment and where they need further preparation. The mock setting allowed them to practise responding under interview conditions and identify areas that can be strengthened before appearing for actual placement opportunities.
The initiative forms part of the Department of BBA’s efforts to provide students with practical, career-oriented exposure alongside their academic learning. Such activities help students approach the recruitment process with greater familiarity and prepare for the expectations of prospective employers.
