Invertis University celebrated Internship Day on 29 October 2026, recognising the achievements of students who secured more than 4,200 internship opportunities across organisations and industries. The opportunities spanned locations across India and international destinations, reflecting the professional exposure gained by students through workplace experience.

The celebration highlighted the role of internships in preparing students for professional careers. By working in real-world environments, students gain practical experience, develop industry-relevant skills and learn to apply classroom knowledge to professional challenges.

An important highlight of the event was the LinkedIn Internship Experience Contest, which encouraged students to share their internship journeys, workplace experiences and professional learnings on the platform. The top three participants were felicitated for their contributions, recognising their efforts in communicating their experiences and sharing insights with the wider professional community.

Students were also recognised for securing internship opportunities, acknowledging their initiative, commitment and efforts towards gaining practical industry exposure.

The celebration served as an opportunity to recognise student achievements while encouraging others to explore internships as an important part of their academic and professional development. It reinforced the value of experiential learning, professional networking and early industry engagement in helping students understand workplace expectations and prepare for future career opportunities.
