International Symposium on Mental Health and Social Well-Being in Modern Society

The Discipline of Psychology under the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Invertis University, Bareilly successfully organized an International Symposium on “Mental Health and Social Well-Being in Modern Society” on 8th April 2026. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The symposium was organized under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Y.D.S. Arya and Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. P.P. Singh.
The symposium was graced by keynote speaker Prof. Suneetha B. Manyam from Mercer University, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, along with her research scholar Ms. Cady E. Barbour. Their insightful deliberations added significant value to the programme and inspired participants to explore contemporary issues related to mental health, emotional well-being, and social dynamics.
The event provided an excellent platform for intellectual exchange among academicians, faculty members, researchers, and students. Participants actively engaged in discussions on various aspects of mental health, social relationships, and overall well-being in modern society. The keynote session encouraged students and scholars to develop innovative perspectives and a deeper understanding of the subject.
The symposium witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, researchers, and students from different institutions and organizations. It proved to be highly informative and beneficial in promoting research awareness, emotional well-being, and global academic collaboration.
