Guest Lecture on “Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy: Bridging Drug Discovery, Clinical Practice and Research”

The Department of Pharmacy, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on 26th February 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The lecture was conducted for students of B.Pharm. and D.Pharm. with the objective of enhancing their understanding of emerging technologies in the pharmaceutical domain.
The session was delivered by Prof. Pankaj Kumar Rai, President – IIC & Head, Department of Biotechnology, Invertis University, who provided valuable insights on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in Pharmacy: Bridging Drug Discovery, Clinical Practice and Research.” He elaborated on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in drug discovery, clinical decision-making, pharmaceutical research, and healthcare innovation.
The speaker emphasized how AI enhances accuracy, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making in the healthcare sector. The session was highly informative and interactive, enabling students to understand the practical applications of AI in modern pharmacy practice and research.
