The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized a guest lecture on “AI Workshop” on 31st July 2025, under the initiative AI for Digital Readiness and Advancement (ADiRA). The workshop was conducted by Data LEADS, supported by Google.org, ADB, and AVPN, with the objective of training students for AI-driven work environments. Held under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Executive Director Mr. Parth Gautam the session was conducted by Dr. Manish Jaisal, Head of Journalism, ITM University, Gwalior, and ADiRA Trainer. He emphasized that AI is not just the future but a vital part of the present, highlighting how Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing journalism, media, and communication by enhancing creativity, efficiency, and innovation. The workshop concluded with an engaging Q&A session, during which students explored the practical use of AI tools in content creation, data analysis, and digital storytelling. The event proved to be highly informative and interactive, inspiring students to embrace AI technologies in their academic and professional journeys.
