Educational Visit to IVRI Bareilly

The Department of Agriculture, Invertis University, Bareilly, organized an educational visit to the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Bareilly on 18th March 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The visit was arranged for students of B.Sc. (Agriculture) to provide practical exposure to advanced research and technologies in animal science and veterinary studies.
During the visit, students explored various laboratories, research centres, and modern animal health facilities, where they learned about animal disease diagnosis, vaccine development, livestock research, and the use of advanced scientific instruments. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Neha Joshi (SMS, KVK-IVRI), who explained the ongoing research activities and recent developments in veterinary science.
The visit was accompanied by Dr. Ajeet Rana and Dr. Rahul Sharma, who guided students throughout the tour and helped them understand the practical aspects of agricultural and veterinary research.Dr. Devraj Singh, Head of Department, appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to actively participate in such academic visits for better practical learning.
The educational visit proved to be highly informative and beneficial, enhancing students’ knowledge and providing valuable exposure to real-world research and scientific applications in agriculture and animal sciences.
