Educational Excursion to Uttarakhand

The Invertis Institute of Education, Invertis University, Bareilly successfully organized an Educational Excursion from 6th to 10th April 2026 for B.Sc. B.Ed. VIII Semester students. The excursion covered Rishikesh, Harshil Valley including Bagori and Mukhba villages, Gangotri Dham, and Haridwar in Uttarakhand.
The educational visit was conducted under the guidance and support of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The excursion aimed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities related to geography, culture, spirituality, environment, and rural life.
During the visit, students explored the Himalayan ecosystem, observed the natural beauty of Harshil Valley, and gained knowledge about the lifestyle, traditions, and culture of indigenous communities living in Bagori and Mukhba villages. They also visited Gangotri Dham and experienced the spiritual significance of the region.
Students witnessed the Ganga Aarti at Rishikesh and Haridwar, which helped them understand the religious and cultural importance of these places. The excursion also encouraged students to develop social interaction, teamwork, environmental awareness, and a deeper understanding of Indian heritage and traditions.
The educational excursion proved to be highly informative and beneficial, providing students with practical exposure beyond the classroom and enriching their overall learning experience.
