Invertis University successfully organized an EBSCO Training and User Awareness Session on the topic “Enhancing Research Skills with the Power of Digital Library Platforms” on 6th April 2026 in collaboration with EBSCO Information Services India Pvt. Ltd. The programme was conducted under the guidance and support of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam, Global Director Ms. Sejal Gautam, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Y.D.S. Arya, and the university administration.

The workshop aimed to enhance the research capabilities of students and faculty members by equipping them with essential academic and digital research skills. Around 500 students from MBA, BBA, and B.Com. participated enthusiastically in the programme. Separate sessions were organized for each group to ensure focused and customized learning based on their academic requirements.

The session was conducted by Mr. Lakhpat Singh, Training Manager, EBSCO Information Services India Pvt. Ltd., who guided participants on effectively navigating the EBSCO platform for academic research. He demonstrated the process of downloading and accessing the EBSCO mobile application, enabling students to use the platform both within and beyond the campus.

A major highlight of the session was the live search demonstration, where students explored academic journals, articles, and research materials related to International Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and Human Resource Management. Participants were also introduced to case studies relevant to their curriculum, helping them connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

The programme proved to be highly informative and beneficial, significantly improving students’ confidence in using digital research databases for academic and professional growth.
