Alumni Guest Lecture on “Hackathon and Projects: Shortcuts to be Industry Ready”
The Faculty of Computer Applications, Invertis University, organized an Alumni Guest Lecture on “Hackathon and Projects: Shortcuts to be Industry Ready” on 23rd August 2025 at AB-3 Tech Zone. The session was delivered by Mr. Pranav Thakur, Quality Analyst at Designoweb and an alumnus of Invertis University. Mr. Thakur emphasized how participation in hackathons and real-world projects develops problem-solving, teamwork, time management, and innovative thinking skills that are highly valued in the industry. He guided students on selecting impactful projects, leveraging resources, and showcasing their work on platforms like GitHub and LinkedIn, while aligning projects with emerging technologies such as AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing. The interactive session concluded with the inspiring message: “Hackathons and projects are your fast track to becoming industry-ready.”
