Academic Programme on “India–EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA): The Mother of All Agreements” – Department of BBA
The Department of BBA, Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly, organized an academic programme on the topic “India–EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA): The Mother of All Agreements” under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The programme aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of international trade agreements and their economic impact.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Manish Gupta, Dean – Faculty of Management, and Dr. Rajeev Singh Bhandari, Head – Department of BBA, and was coordinated by Dr. Abhishek Jain, Assistant Professor, BBA Department. The session was addressed by Dr. Alok Mishra, who explained the economic, political, and regional implications of the India–EU Free Trade Agreement, highlighting its importance for global trade and business opportunities.
Students actively participated by presenting their views on different sectors affected by the agreement. Their presentations were evaluated by a jury panel, and the winners were awarded for their performance. Shailesh Seth and Mohammad Saif secured first position, Shaurya Saxena and Apramay Tyagi received second position, while Jaspreet Kaur, Ayush Rastogi, Siddhi Pandey, and Shreya Mishra secured third position for their presentations on various sectors.
The programme proved to be highly informative and beneficial, helping students gain practical knowledge of international trade policies, economic agreements, and their impact on different industries.
