The Department of Law, Invertis University, successfully organized the 10th Intra-Departmental Moot Court Competition on 10th and 11th November 2025, providing students with a practical platform to enhance advocacy, drafting, research, and courtroom presentation skills.

A total of 17 teams participated enthusiastically, progressing through the Preliminary, Quarter-Final, Semi-Final, and Final rounds. The Final Round was conducted in the Moot Court Hall in an engaging and competitive atmosphere.

The event was organized under the guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam, Executive Director Mr. Parth Gautam, and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Y.D.S. Arya. The competition was convened by Mr. Moiz, under the supervision of Mr. Prakhar Saxena (HOD) and the overall leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Reena Jaiswal (Dean, Faculty of Law).

A distinguished panel of alumni advocates served as judges across all rounds, evaluating participants on legal reasoning, articulation, research, and courtroom etiquette.

Runner-Up Team: Aayat Akhtar, Satakshi Upadhyay & Saniya Iqbal

Best Mooter: Vedanshi Upadhyay

Best Researcher: Saniya Iqbal

Faculty members including Prof. Shaukat Ali, Ms. Alpika Verma, Mrs. Megha Mishra, and Dr. V.N. Sharma contributed significantly to the smooth conduct of the event.

The competition successfully strengthened students’ advocacy and legal analytical abilities, reaffirming the Department’s commitment to experiential learning through structured moot court activities.
