Union Budget 2026 Symposium – Department of BBA

The Department of BBA, Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized the “Union Budget 2026 Symposium” on 7th February 2026 under the esteemed guidance of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The event was convened by Dr. Alok Mishra and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members.
The symposium began with insightful remarks by Prof. Manish Gupta, Dean – Faculty of Management, followed by an address from Dr. Rajeev Singh Bhandari, HOD – BBA. Expert discussions provided comprehensive insights into the newly proposed fiscal policies and their long-term implications for businesses and the national economy. The sessions encouraged analytical thinking and stimulated meaningful discussions on budgetary allocations and sectoral growth.
Student presentations formed a key highlight of the event. Participants were assigned specific sectors in advance and were evaluated by a distinguished panel comprising Mr. Amiyo Das, Dr. Abhishek Jain, and Ms. Sakshi Pandey. Students were assessed on factual accuracy, use of statistical data, clarity of explanation, coordination, and presentation skills.
The symposium aimed to enhance financial literacy, analytical abilities, and public speaking skills among BBA students. The event concluded successfully, inspiring students to remain informed, data-driven, and socially responsible future professionals. Overall, the symposium proved to be highly informative and beneficial in providing a clearer understanding of the 2026 financial landscape.
