Three-day workshop on film making and acting was successfully conducted in Invertis University from 16th to 18th April 2026 by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication under the able supervision of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam.

The workshop was presided over by actor and filmmaker Mr. Gaurav Singh, who acted as chief guest and mentor of the event. In the first day, he educated the students about the basics of filmmaking and conducted several acting sessions to develop concentration and performance.

In the second day, he trained the students in cinematography and various other aspects like camera angles, frame techniques, and understanding the script. He taught them how to convert ordinary ideas into powerful stories using the help of filmmaking. In the last day, they made their own films with the assistance of the mentor, which demonstrated their abilities in acting and direction.

The program was held under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Y.D.S. Arya and Hon’ble Dean Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma. The Head of the Department was Dr. Lalit Kumar and faculty members assisted in conducting the event. Ms. Yashika Gupta was the coordinator of this workshop.
