Skill-Up Session on “From Campus to Career with LinkedIn” – Department of B.Com.
The Department of B.Com., Faculty of Management, Invertis University, Bareilly, successfully organized a Skill-Up Session titled “From Campus to Career with LinkedIn” on 11th February 2026 under the guidance and encouragement of Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Umesh Gautam and Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Mr. Parth Gautam. The session was conducted for students of B.Com. and B.Com. (Hons.) with the objective of enhancing their digital career-building skills and professional readiness.
The session was delivered by Dr. Mohnish Kumar, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Management, who provided practical insights into creating a strong professional identity on LinkedIn. He guided students on profile optimization, keyword enhancement, networking strategies, leveraging certifications, and exploring internship and placement opportunities through digital platforms. Emphasizing the importance of digital presence in today’s competitive job market, he highlighted the need for continuous skill development alongside academic qualifications.
Dr. Dheeraj Gandhi, Head – Department of B.Com., encouraged students to actively engage in skill-building initiatives to strengthen their career prospects. The university leadership, including Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Y.D.S. Arya and Prof. Manish Gupta, Dean – Faculty of Management, appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of industry-oriented learning for holistic student development.
The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, equipping students with clarity and confidence to navigate their professional journeys effectively.
